We are looking for a part- or full-time float staff to join our team at All God’s Children Learning Center. In this role you will work alongside the Teachers in all age groups to provide a warm and nurturing environment. Float staff must be comfortable working with all age groups and supporting children’s development through fun, play-based activities. You will be responsible for maintaining effective supervision of the children, maintaining positive communication with families, and assisting other classroom Teachers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Experience in licensed Child Care Program preferred.
• Ability to perform the physical functions of the position, including communication, visual supervision and lifting at least 25 lbs.
• Commitment to sharing God’s love, and modeling Christian behavior with children and their families.

The essential position functions include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Help facilitate classroom activities.
• Help implement curriculum for enrolled children.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers to ensure children's needs are met.
• Help maintain an entertaining and cooperative classroom that is clean and organized.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Assist in covering for staff breaks, vacation, and sick leave.
• Creates a learning culture that is nurturing, safe, consistent and is accepting of all children.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
